b23138. The foundation stone for this church was laid on the 5 February 1835 by William Feilden M.P. for Blackburn. The cost was about £1,000. It is near to Feniscowles Hall and the banks of the river Darwen. The Church has a rare ancient Japanese bell, it origins are not known. J. 2 Imm.
