Three girls photographed on Hope Street c. 1964 with the camera looking towards a partly demolished Winter Street. The spire of St George's Presbyterian church can be seen in the distance. The girls are L-R: Lesley Monk, Mary (who was a visitor from Scotland) and Janet Whittaker. Across the road on the corner of Denville Street can be seen the three-storey last house on Hope Street, which was the Monk family home.
