Hopwood, Robert 001
Hopwood Robert EsqrnSecond Mayor of Blackburn, succeeded his father on the aldermanic bench. Later he purchased the manor of Bracewell and on his death in 1860 he was buried in Bracewell Church. A stained glass window to his memory was presented to Christ Church, Grimshaw Park, by Mrs Hopwood.
