Image, date unknown, of a women's sports group, with coaches, at the Harison Institute. It is hard to know the nature of the sport played. The FA banned women from playing on football league ground in 1921, but women's football could have continued at local level. Or perhaps the photograph pre-dates the 1920s. It is also possibly a netball group, although the coaches are clearly male.
