Hoghton Station 001
Hoghton station, was on Blackburn Preston line, which opened in 1846. The station closed in 1963. Nothing remains of the ststion buildings today. Trains carried stone from a quarry on the de-Hoghton estate. The photo shows a wagon loaded with stone. N. 35
