Ginnel 001
Atmospheric shot of a ginnel in an unknown location, probably in the town centre and possibly at the rear of Queen Victoria Street. Ginnel is a northern word, possibly of Scandinavian origin. Often claimed to be a Yorkshire dialect word, ginnel is in fact long established and in widespread use in East Lancashire.
