Handloom Weaver's Cottage 001

Former loomshop of what was once a handloom weaver's cottage and loomshop, taken in 1973, later converted into two dwellings. On the left of the image can be seen the original entrance to the dwelling. The groundfloor loomshop on the right had a triple window to maximise available light for the weaver. A door was subsequently inserted into the triple window when the loomshop was converted to a dwelling. Demolished in the late 1970s.rnC62 aud. b24690. 5569. 516-6rn
