Feniscowles Hall
b24781. The ruins of Feniscowles Hall. Built in 1808 by William Feilden who was MP for Blackburn 1832-1847. The grounds were converted into a deer park. The Feildens left the hall in c1879. it was for a time used as a training school for Roman Catholic boys, and at the end of the 19 century into pleasure gardens. By 1911 it was falling into disrepair. Date 1959. D. 41 Fen.
