b02582. This Potery at Eccleshill was started in about 1824 by Richard Bateson of Grimshaw Park Pot House. it produced tiles, chimney pots, fire bricks etc. from clay taken off the site. The pottery was situated behind the Handel Arms and is no longb03926. A drawing of Shaws' Glazed Brick Co. Ltd. Here they manufactured glazed brick, terra cott and sanitary ware.
