Darwen Street 050
Postcard reproduction of a Painting by R. Hutchinson of shop numbers 19-29 Darwen Street. Soon to be cleared, the site was used to build the General Post Office in 1907. The shop in the centre sells trotters and cowheel (tripe - a Lancashire delicacy). The tower of Blackburn Cathedral can be seen in the background.
