Daisy Street Mosque
Q961. No. 115-117 Daisy Street Mosque; showing one of the first Mosque's in Blackburn. rnInformation recently given (03/2022) by a former resident of Daisy Street who attended the Mosque notes that the upstairs of the building was a Mosque and downstairs was a Madrasa. Young girls were allowed in the Madrasa but women were not allowed in the Mosque. The building was demolished by the late 1980s. rnCotton Town would love to hear from anyone who attended the Mosque or Madrasa. Have you any stories, photographs or memories to share?
