Canal Repair Work 003
b24337. Drainge work on the Leeds and Liverpool canal at Whitebirk. With pumps and lengths of pipeline used to empty the section of canal. This section of canal was emptied to run a drain under the canal bed. The bridge carries Whitebirk Road. It is no longer used for traffic. Date of photograph is 1965. N. 26 lee.
