Kirk and Co Shuttle Works 004
b23016. Started in the late 18th century as a water powered carding factory. In 1876 it became William Kirk and Co. Shuttle Makers. The mill shut in 1981. the photograph shows the name and date 1906 on the iron lintel over the door it was taken in July 1979. M. 61 Kir.
