b05431. A busy time on Blackburn Boulevard. The railway station is on the left, the Palace Theatre on the Corner of Jubilee Street can jusrt be seen. The tram lines are still evident but the trams had not run in Blackburn for a few years prior to the photograph taken in the 1950's. Note the wagon with men clambering onto it. At this time the all area was made up of stone sets. N 18
