Little Harwood War Memorial 002
The War Memorial clock tower on Whalley Old-road at Little Harwood is situated in a small memorial garden. It was payed for by public subscription in honour of the men of Little Harwood who gave their lives in the Great War. It was unveiled on the 11August 1923. There are 96 names listed on it. A carved wreath was added in memory of those who died in WW2. The Old Star Cinema Can be seen on the right with the Railway bridge behind. Taken May 1979. D. 58.
