Malham village, Malhamdale
This interesting view of Malham is almost unrecognisable, as tall trees have now grown alongside the Gordale Beck. In the Edwardian era the upper reaches of Malhamdale were still relatively difficult to access. Modern Malham provides a great contrast - on summer weekends a the large car park is usually full of cars, the busy pubs doing a roaring trade.
