Salesbury, near Blackburn
View of Salesbury at the junction of Lovely Hall Lane and Ribchester Road. The Bonny Inn can be glimpsed in the distance. The cottages in the picture can still be seen although many of them have undergone "facelifts" in recent years. The Post Office is now a private house. Whilst Salesbury still has its village green, a mixture of housing has been built in the field at the left, giving the village more of a suburban look today.
