Whalley New Road, Brownhill, Blackburn
Whalley New Road in a more peaceful era, before the coming of the car and Brownhill roundabout. The substantial terraced houses would have been built in the 1890s. This area is known as "Woodlands" and a pleasant walk can still be taken along the area to the right behind the trees.
